Town of Arlington COVID-19 Testing Pilot Program
 
The Arlington Department of Health and Human Services has partnered with Armstrong Ambulance to offer a COVID-19 testing pilot program Tuesday December 8th through Thursday December 10th. Drive-thru COVID-19 testing will be offered in the Ed Burns Arena parking lot between 9:00am – 12:00pm on these dates. (Tuesday: 9am-11am only) 

Testing is open to Arlington residents, individuals that work in the Town of Arlington, or individuals that attend a school (public or private) in Arlington. Testing is available to all individuals that fall into one of the previous listed categories. In order to register for a test, individuals DO NOT need to be exhibiting symptoms of COVID-19 or have been in close contact with someone with COVID-19. Registration is REQUIRED. Please see below:

*Online payments must be made using a Debit or Credit Card. Health Insurance cannot be billed for this service. All individuals registering will be emailed a confirmation receipt automatically. If you need a receipt for insurance purposes, please use your registration email for this purpose.*
 
**Existing household CREDITS for Arlington Recreation Programs in MyRec may not be used/applied as payment for a COVID-19 testing registration fee.**
 
TESTING REQUIREMENTS
Registration REQUIRED. Testing is open to Arlington residents, individuals that work in the Town of Arlington, or attend a school (public or private) in Arlington. Testing is available to all individuals that fall into one of the previous listed categories. In order to register for a test, individuals DO NOT need to be exhibiting symptoms of COVID-19 or have been in close contact with someone with COVID-19.

Registration will be by (30) minute time blocks. Individuals must register for a specific day and (30) minute time block. Those registered may arrive anytime within their scheduled time block. Individuals registered should not arrive more then (5) minutes before their scheduled time frame as they will be turned away until their scheduled time.
 
Please not that each individual looking to have a test taken must register individually and pay a separate registration fee. No on site registration allowed. All participants must be pre-registered. This is a drive-through testing site, however, for those that are pre-registered but will be taking public transportation, walking or biking, you will need to check in during your time slot at the testing tent.

Tests administered will be PCR tests. Those tested should receive results within 24 hours. More information regarding results and how individuals will be contacted will be given or sent to those registered. There are no age restrictions for individuals looking to be tested. 
 
REGISTRATION INFORMATION
Registration & scheduling will be overseen by the Arlington Recreation Department through their website, www.arlingtonrec.com. Individuals that have previously registered for an Arlington Recreation Department program may use their existing MyRec Account to register for a test. Individuals that have not previously registered for an Arlington Recreation program must first create a household account on the MyRec Arlington Recreation website. When doing so, please add any individuals to your household that you plan to register. A number of required questions will need to be answered during the sign up process in order to complete your registration.

Please note Online Registration will close at 11:00pm the night before each testing day. (Tuesday testing registration will close at 11:00pm Monday Night)

We anticipate that testing time slots will fill very quickly. Registration will be taken on a first come, first serve basis.
 
We ask that all registrations take place through the Arlington Recreation Department website (www.arlingtonrec.com), as there are several required health questions that will need to be answered. Please feel free to call the Recreation Department Office if you have any issues with accessing/setting up your MyRec Account. The Recreation Office is open Monday-Friday from 8:00am to 4:00pm and can be reached by calling (781) 316-3880. Unfortunately due to the required health questions, we will be unable to process full registrations over the phone. We recommend that you check your current MyRec Account or set up a new account prior to registration opening.
