Arlington Basketball Club
This new ABC program is a 9-week basketball league for 1st and 2nd graders. Registration is individual and players will be placed on a team and be on that same team throughout the season. Each week will feature a 30-minute practice followed by a 32-minute game each against another team. Games are played 4-4 and will be played on 8.5-foot hoops. Coaches will be volunteers. The emphasis of this program will be on teaching the participants how to play rather than running plays and winning games. Each week, we will build on the previous week’s skills and concepts, and then play games.
