We create a fun, safe and welcoming learning environment at Matt Siegel Tennis, LLC. Offering a variety of programming (camps, clinics, private and group lessons, hitting sessions, etc.) to juniors and adults of ALL skill levels. Our goal is to have every partcipant reach their full potential in the lifelong sport of tennis through an experienced and enthusiastic coaching staff led by Matt Siegel. Players are given the foundation to fall in love with the game, and play with a whole lot of heart. Matt is a former college tennis player who has worked with Arlington Recreation Tennis for the past 10 years. He is currently the Arlington High Boy’s Tennis coach and has led the team to eight straight state tournament appearances.Junior Tennis ProgramsThese programs will give participants a successful jump start into the game. We emphasize FUN and use a lot of games and drills to teach the age-appropriate basics of tennis. Club Geo Trek - Club Geo Trek: Session2 As part of our LAHF TREK series, Club GEO Trek introduces hiking and the fun sport of collecting geocaches! Geocaching is a type of global scavenger hunt where people look for caches, or hidden stashes of objects. Geocachers use a GPS app that offers coordinates, clues and puzzles to solve, in order to locate caches and/or place their own caches. In this workshop, we will review basic hiking and caching etiquette, (including leave no trace), learn how to use one of the geocache apps, and try to locate caches in Arlington.

It’s an ideal activity for people of all ages and sizes.About the Instructor: Michael Tarascio was a member of the United States World Championship Team in Men's Foil. Michael is a Level 4 Foil coach certified through the United States Fencing Association. Also, certified through the Positive Coaching Alliance and the American Sports Education Program. He teaches Recreational Classes for Youth, Teens, and Adults. Michael also teaches Advanced Level Technique and Tactics Classes and provides Individual Coaching for the Serious Competitive Fencer. Michael's philosophy on fencing is: "Participate in fencing because it's fun."Fencing Equipment Purchase and Rental Information will be sent out prior to class. Children will be taught how to stand up on skates, marching, dips, and forward skate. Participants are required to provide their own single blade skates (rentals available). Helmets are required for this program! It’s time to sharpen your blades for the coming winter season! Join Ed Burns Arena for skating fun. All teachers are professional ice skating instructors, offering excellent classes for students ages 4 and up. The program is structured in 25-minute lessons and 25-minute practice time each week. A co-instructor is in attendance at all times. Skaters must have sharpened figure, hockey, or recreation skates. NO Double Runners. Skill progression: balancing, falling and getting up, glides, turns, edges, crossovers, spins, jumps and more. Please note this is not a drop-off class and parents/guardians should remain onsite through the program. Arlington Basketball Club Fall Girls League ( Grades 2-4) - ABC Fall Girls League This league is a 9-week basketball league for 2nd, 3rd and 4th grade girls. Registration is individual and players will be placed on a team and be on that same team throughout the season. Games will be played on Saturday afternoons and there will be an optional practice once per week (on Mondays most likely 6-7 PM). Teams will be formed evenly based on playing level with an even amount of players from grade 2, 3 and 4 on each team. There will be a maximum of 8 players per team, games are played 4-4 and will be played on 8.5 ft hoops. Game times will be 32 minutes (4 quarters, 8 minutes each) stop time with a referee. Coaches will be volunteers (if you are interested in being a coach please contact arlingtonbasketballclub@gmail.com). The emphasis of this program will be on teaching the participants how to play in a game setting rather than running plays and winning games.

Throughout the day, there will be opportunities for the kids to have a chance to mingle with other age groups to play and create together.Arlington Kid Care, which is licensed by the Department of Early Education and Care, follows the Arlington Public School calendar with the following exceptions: it is not open when school closes at mid-day for a vacation period or closes early because of bad weather. Early release days are included as long as you are registered for the respective day.

Our program will be split into 3 different age groups: K & 1, 2 & 3, 4 & 5. Throughout the day, there will be opportunities for the kids to have a chance to mingle with other age groups to play and create together.Arlington Kid Care, which is licensed by the Department of Early Education and Care, follows the Arlington Public School calendar with the following exceptions: it is not open when school closes at mid-day for a vacation period or closes early because of bad weather. Children will be taught how to stand up on skates, marching, dips, and forward skate. Participants are required to provide their own single blade skates (rentals available). Helmets are required for this program! It’s time to sharpen your blades for the coming winter season! Join Ed Burns Arena for skating fun. All teachers are professional ice skating instructors, offering excellent classes for students ages 4 and up. The program is structured in 25-minute lessons and 25-minute practice time each week. A co-instructor is in attendance at all times. Skaters must have sharpened figure, hockey, or recreation skates. NO Double Runners. Skill progression: balancing, falling and getting up, glides, turns, edges, crossovers, spins, jumps and more. Children will be taught how to stand up on skates, marching, dips, and forward skate. Participants are required to provide their own single blade skates (rentals available). Helmets are required for this program! It’s time to sharpen your blades for the coming winter season! Join Ed Burns Arena for skating fun. Arlington Basketball Club Fall Girls League ( Grades 2-4) - ABC Fall Girls League This league is a 9-week basketball league for 2nd, 3rd and 4th grade girls. Registration is individual and players will be placed on a team and be on that same team throughout the season. Games will be played on Saturday afternoons and there will be an optional practice once per week (on Mondays most likely 6-7 PM). Teams will be formed evenly based on playing level with an even amount of players from grade 2, 3 and 4 on each team. There will be a maximum of 8 players per team, games are played 4-4 and will be played on 8.5 ft hoops. Game times will be 32 minutes (4 quarters, 8 minutes each) stop time with a referee. Coaches will be volunteers (if you are interested in being a coach please contact arlingtonbasketballclub@gmail.com). The emphasis of this program will be on teaching the participants how to play in a game setting rather than running plays and winning games.

All teachers are professional ice skating instructors, offering excellent classes for students ages 4 and up. The program is structured in 25-minute lessons and 25-minute practice time each week. Children will have time to play different exciting sports and games, spend time outside and enjoy the recently renovated playground. Open-ended arts & crafts, dramatic play, music activities and science experiments are all part of the curriculum.Transportation is provided and included in the tuition. Our program will be split into 3 different age groups: K & 1, 2 & 3, 4 & 5. Throughout the day, there will be opportunities for the kids to have a chance to mingle with other age groups to play and create together.Arlington Kid Care, which is licensed by the Department of Early Education and Care, follows the Arlington Public School calendar with the following exceptions: it is not open when school closes at mid-day for a vacation period or closes early because of bad weather. Early release days are included as long as you are registered for the respective day.

Ed Burns Arena Skating Learn to Skate Program - Ed Burns Ice Skating (Saturday Session 1) Ed Burns Arena Skating Learn To Skate ProgramCelebrating Over Fifty Years of Teaching Skating to YouthBasic instruction and open skate for youth, without parents. Children will be taught how to stand up on skates, marching, dips, and forward skate. Participants are required to provide their own single blade skates (rentals available). Helmets are required for this program! It’s time to sharpen your blades for the coming winter season! Join Ed Burns Arena for skating fun. All teachers are professional ice skating instructors, offering excellent classes for students ages 4 and up. The program is structured in 25-minute lessons and 25-minute practice time each week. A co-instructor is in attendance at all times. Skaters must have sharpened figure, hockey, or recreation skates. NO Double Runners. Arlington Basketball Club Fall Girls League ( Grades 2-4) - ABC Fall Girls League This league is a 9-week basketball league for 2nd, 3rd and 4th grade girls. Registration is individual and players will be placed on a team and be on that same team throughout the season. Games will be played on Saturday afternoons and there will be an optional practice once per week (on Mondays most likely 6-7 PM). Teams will be formed evenly based on playing level with an even amount of players from grade 2, 3 and 4 on each team. There will be a maximum of 8 players per team, games are played 4-4 and will be played on 8.5 ft hoops. Game times will be 32 minutes (4 quarters, 8 minutes each) stop time with a referee. Coaches will be volunteers (if you are interested in being a coach please contact arlingtonbasketballclub@gmail.com). The emphasis of this program will be on teaching the participants how to play in a game setting rather than running plays and winning games.

Super Soccer Stars (Fall) - Super Soccer Stars: Fall Sunday Field #1 (Ages 3-4) At Super Soccer Stars, it is our goal to teach soccer skills in a fun, non-competitive, educational environment. Our philosophy is to use soccer to nurture, to build self-confidence, and to develop teamwork in every class. Our specially designed curricula use positive reinforcement and a low child-to-coach ratio to ensure that each child improves at his or her own rate while having endless fun.

The goal is to create a fun environment that establishes life-time connections to sports and physical activity.

Elementary School Co-Ed Ultimate Frisbee - Elementary School Co-Ed Ultimate Frisbee This program is designed for all students entering grades 1-5, regardless of previous experience with Ultimate. Our goal is for all attendees to develop both a love of the game and a feeling of belonging within our community. Coaches will be on hand to help players learn skills and tactics/strategy/rules.
