|Reservoir Beach Park is open to the public late August - early May. The park includes a new playground, grassy area, walking trails, sandy beach, paved parking and a picnic pavilion. (Reservoir Beach is open for swimming during the summer with paid admission.) Swimming is prohibited during the off-season. Off-leash dogs are not permitted except during designated morning times.
In the off-season (roughly late August - early May), the Pavilion may be reserved for small gatherings & parties. The permit reserves the 3 picnic tables for your gathering. The park and playground are available and also open to the public. As with all park picnic permits, the park should be used "as is". No additional tables, tents, chairs, canopies, bounce houses, etc. allowed. Grilling, open flames and alcohol not permitted.
While the bathroom and snack bar are closed in the off-season, a portapottie is available September 1 - November.
